“To Algeria, With Love” tells a painful story, but in Ruta’s deft hands it also manages to be a hopeful one.” Sunday Times Book Review, August 19, 2012

Suzanne Ruta will read from her timely novel To Algeria, with Love
on October 16th, 2012 in the Westbeth gallery at 7 PM . She promises to make it quick, so people can go home to see the presidential debate on TV.

The novel is a love story with a political subtext, a protest against the Iraq war, the conduct of the war on terror, and a lot of nonsense published after 9/11 about the clash of civilizations.
