SuZen — Photography

Always pushing the photographic medium in new dimensions, SuZen’s photography has evolved from working in the darkroom and exhibiting in galleries and museums to entering NYC’s public arena with a 40′ x 25′ painted mural of her photo, Flowing Light, on 42nd Street in Times Square, which was funded by New York City Council on the Arts (NYSCA).

"Flowing Light" is a 40′ x 25′ painted mural on the west wall of 303 W42nd Street. Funded by New York City Council on the Arts (NYSCA), it has graced Times Square since 1984.

Excerpt of "Transmigration", a multi-media installation, inspired by Buddha’s teaching. It is the culmination of SuZen's ongoing theme of Reality and Illusion with multiple layers depicting Light and Spirit. It was premiered at her 50 year retrospective, VISIONS of LIGHT & SPIRIT in 2016.
