The West Village is one of Manhattan’s most upscale neighborhoods filled with luxury townhouses, fancy restaurants, and designer boutiques. But for more than 50 years, one building near the Hudson River has offered a space for artists to live and work who would otherwise be priced out of this community.

17 year-old Radio Rookies reporter Vera Giraudo moved into Westbeth Affordable Artist Housing with her family four years ago and gives us this inside look.
