Reuben filmed the interviews and worked on the production design for the interviews of Spike Lee, Darren Aronofsky, and John Krasinski.

A shorter cut was shown at the 2026 Tribeca Film Festival.

Reuben Hernandez is a multi-disciplinary artist who tells meaningful, visual stories through film, photography, and handmade, tactile objects. He’s touched down on all seven continents finding beauty in everything from the beaches of Southern California to the icebergs of Antarctica.

Reuben’s work has been featured in BBC Travel, The New York Times, on the Discovery Channel, and premiered at Tropfest NY, the world’s largest short film festival. He was named one of the “20 Emerging Artists to Watch in Film and Video” by PDN and Rangefinder Magazine. His narrative film, Maddie, won the Best Williamsburg Short Award at the Williamsburg Independent Film Festival.
