The papers of the late Hugh Seidman have been acquired by the The University of California, San Diego Library.

Intended as a research collection, Archive for New Poetry focuses on alternative approaches to writing in the English language since 1945, including the Objectivists, the New York School, and Black Mountain College.

Hugh’s complete archives at UCSD contain correspondence, poetry manuscripts, physics papers, memorabilia, and photographs. The Archive is available to scholars, writers, and students.
