On June 1, 2025 Crossing Tones hosted a Listening Event at Westbeth Community Room which featured recordings of the ‘Jazz for A Decade’ performances at Westbeth on May 2 and 3, 1980. The event featured the jazz musicians who were living at Westbeth at that time, plus their friends . This event was part of westbeth’s 10th Anniversary Celebration. Photographs by Bill Gamble of the 1980 performers were also featured.

Billy Harper returned to Westbeth, to the very room where the 1980 performances took place to talk about his life at Westbeth.
