Diane Spodarek is a Canadian-American award-winning writer of prose, poetry, plays, cartoons and song. A recipient of an NEA artist’s fellowship, a Michigan Council for the Arts award for performance art, three New York Foundation for the Arts Artist’s Fellowships, (video art and literature), and a Jane Chambers award for her play “Happy Hour.” Her play, “Cheese” premiered at the Metropolitan Theatre in New York. Her solo play, “The Drunk Monologues” premiered at the Horse Trade Theatre in New York and was also performed by her in the International Fringe Festival in New York and New Zealand to critical reviews
