David Alexander — Digital Art

I graduated from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia in 1978. For about 25 years I did commissioned — but not quite traditional — portraits. Major locations: Philadelphia, Los Angeles and Houston. Around the year 2000 I switched from oil paint to Photoshop. My medium had arrived! I do very few portraits now. I experiment to my heart's content. In 1980 I moved to New York City, then to Westbeth, only a few miles from where I was born.
