David Alexander — Digital Art

I graduated from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia in 1978. In 1980 I moved to New York City, then to Westbeth, only a few miles from where I was born. For about 25 years I did commissioned — however not quite traditional — portraits. Major locations: Philadelphia, Los Angeles and Houston. Around the year 2000 I switched from oil paint to Photoshop. My medium had arrived! I still do the occasional portrait. I experiment to my heart's content. My work now is primarily transformed photographs. Currently I am concentrating on Garbage.
