Vado Diomande is an internationally known performer, dancer, stilt performer, drummer, vocalist and founder of Kochegna Ivory Coast Dance Company, and a longtime esteemed teacher at Alvin Ailey. Classes are tailored to all ages and are exciting and accessible to all. Participants can focus on drumming or on dancing or both! Vado brings all the drums / percussion instruments needed.The exposure to true traditional African rhythms, dance steps, songs / language and culture by a Master of Ivory Coast music is a rare gift to all ages.
