In 2015 I exhibited EXTRAVAGANZA OF OBSCURITY in the Project Room which was presented in three parts and consisted mainly of painted and texturized Blue Mussell (Mytilus edulis) shells from Maine.
Part 4 continues using the often discarded mollusks shell, but rather than the previous attempts to decorate and alter the shell of earlier work, I have for the past few years used the mollusk’s natural state to explore its natural form.
The compositions are created on site for the Hall.
