Robin Parkinson — Multimedia

Robin Parkinson was staff exhibition designer for eight years at the Cooper Hewitt Museum, the Smithsonian Institution’s National Design Museum. He was then a senior designer for the creation of the Ellis Island Immigration Museum. He was Head of Design for creation of Te Papa, the new National Museum of New Zealand/Te Papa Tongarewa. Independently, he has designed exhibitions on topics of social and natural history, art and design for clients including The Jewish Museum (NY), The Asia Society, the International Tennis Hall of Fame, Swarovski AG, and the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

His sculpture has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art and other museums around the country. He holds a BA from Antioch College and attended the Columbia University School of Architecture.
