David Seccombe — Sculpture

Prior to living at Westbeth, David Seccombe had a loft in the Village with an attic studio. His sculptures were put together and lowered out a window to the street. He showed at the Brata Gallery, a co-op on 3rd Avenue, in the ‘60s. Later his work was exhibited in Bridgehampton, L.I., Battery Park, Penn’s Landing Philadelphia, the Detroit Institute of Art, Socrates Sculpture Park, O.K. Harris Gallery and The American Academy of Arts & Letters. He is a recipient of support from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation, New York Foundation for the Arts, the Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Foundation, and a major grant from The National Endowment for the Arts.
