Jenny Lombard
Selected for One Richmond One Book program

All of the 13,000 students in the Richmond public schools will be provided with a copy of Jenny Lombard’s book, “Drita, My Homegirl, so that they can read it at home and with their teachers online. The book will be featured in promotional videos and for a new, national literacy program, called Read Aloud To A Child Week.

Jenny Lombard is a writer and teacher. She has had numerous plays produced off-off-broadway, developed an original series for children for Nickelodeon and written for Comedy Central and VH1. Her work has been published in Cosmopolitan Magazine and Working Mother. She is the author of How to Stay Single Forever (Warner Books) and Drita, My Homegirl (Putnam, Scholastic).
