Blood Drive at Westbeth Gallery URGENT CALL FOR BLOOD DONORS Our Region’s blood supply has never been lower. COVID-19 has devastated our City’s blood supply over the past year plus, as many companies and non-profits have been unable to hold the large blood drives our blood centers often rely upon. When we put out a call for donations, New Yorkers typically responded in a remarkable way. But now we are again at a point of danger, with only a few days’ supply across our City. This is why New York State Senator and Westbeth Gallery are hosting their community blood drive in support of New York Blood Center encouraging all New Yorkers who are able to donate blood to please do so.
