Open to the community! Bring friends! Snacks and refreshments! \nTake a deep dive into environmental stewardship and earth science with Captain Nemo himself. The cantankerous and ever-curious Captain Nemo lives to excite kids about our watery-blue planet and highlight for us landlubbers the vital inter-dependence of all living things. This reclusive maritime hero entertains\, inspires\, and challenges children 4 to 11\, while quenching their thirst for knowledge of the Wonders of the Deep. During this laugh-riot program\, the Cycle of Life above and below the waves is showcased via encounters with the elusive Angler Fish\, a giant squid\, a jar of bioluminescent plankton and even whale poop! \nThis immersive theatrical experience features beautiful sound effects\, hilarious slapstick hijinks\, magic\, bubble-play\, and full-audience participation. Created and performed by David Engel who tours to performing arts centers\, festivals\, schools\, and museums nationwide and internationally.
