DESCRIPTION:Click to enlarge \nSaturday July 6\, 2024 11am – 5pm\nWestbeth Community Rm\n155 Bank St\nNew York\, NY \nThe West Village Community Blood Drive will partner with New York Blood Center for a blood drive on Saturday\, July 6th\, 2024\, in the Westbeth Community Room from 11am to 5pm. \nHospitals and patients rely upon a steady flow of volunteer donors to receive life-saving donations. Summertime blood drives take on a critical importance because schools are out for summer and families set off on vacation\, New York Blood Center typically sees a decline in donors\, which can impact patient care. With high schools and colleges on break\, those blood drives don’t take place and many regular Donors become busy with Summer activities and vacations. At the same time\, the need for blood remains constant. Hospitals and patients rely upon a steady flow of volunteer donors to receive life-saving donations. Please help meet the needs of patients during the Summer. NYBC encourages all who can donate to sign up. One blood donation can save up to three lives. \nHere’s the Donor Scheduling Link:  https://donate.nybc.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/316075  (you copy & paste this link into communications of your preference) \n \nDonors will have a choice to receive either a ‘We All Bleed The Same’ T-shirt or NY Mets T-shirt at the blood drive and a pair of NY Mets Tickets to all Donors which will be fulfilled via Email about 10 days after the blood drive.
