Ken Wade has been singing songs and telling stories for a long time.

Featured on Australian national television & WBAI radio, he has performed in Melbourne, London, L.A., and Belfast.

In New York City he’s sung and told stories at Dixon Place, NWS Festival, NYC Farmer’s Markets (& upstate), Make Music NYC, the (old) Brecht Forum, the Westbeth Music Festival, Rikers Island, and the New York Public Library.

In 2014 he performed a two act one man show at the spectacular Barn Space in N Virginia. He appears at The Moth, as well as Word and other story telling venues in New York City. 2013 – 2014, He was regularly invited performer at The Stage Left Theater, NYC.

I greatly enjoyed the range of Ken’s music. Those he wrote, those that are well-known, but so uniquely interpreted, and those he picked up in his worldwide travels which might never be heard but for rare individuals as he. His stories are full of insight, warmth and wit.

Ken Wade took us on a rare journey that was simply wonderful. With our toes tapping, he connected each story with a song that was nothing short of mesmerizing

The quality and joy he brings to his music and stories is contagious and made his performances and workshops a joy for all to share.

An absolute delight, deeply funny with an incredible spirit.
